The Asia Cup 2025 will begin on September 9, 2025, with an exciting cricketing month ahead. Organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), the tournament has been the biggest stage for Asian cricketing supremacy since its inception in 1983. Now in its 17th edition, the Asia Cup returns in the T20 format, serving as a perfect lead-up to the T20 World Cup next year.
This year’s tournament will be jointly hosted in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with 11 matches, including the final, taking place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, and the remaining eight games played at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Asia Cup 2025 groups
Group A: India, Oman, Pakistan, United Arab Emirates
Group B: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super Fours, with the top two from that stage meeting in the final on September 28, 2025 in Dubai.
India’s fixtures
Defending champions India, the most successful team in Asia Cup history with eight titles, will begin their campaign on September 10 against hosts United Arab Emirates in Dubai.
The most anticipated match of the tournament, India vs Pakistan, will be played on September 14 in Dubai. If both sides progress from the group stage, they could meet again in the Super Fours and possibly the final, giving fans the chance to witness this iconic rivalry up to three times.

Super Fours stage
The Super Fours will run from September 20 to September 26, with matches split between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This stage will see the top four teams, two from each group, battling for a spot in the final. Given the quality of teams in this year’s competition, every match in the Super Fours is expected to be fiercely contested.
